1966 -

Who doesn't know Gordon Ramsay? The f**king famous British top chef was born on 8th November 1966 in Glasgow, which means that today is his birthday!

Ramsay became internationally famous after being a judge in BBC's competitive cooking programme Masterchef, back in 1996. A few years later, he hosted several television programmes on British television, like Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares and Hell's Kitchen. These shows became so successful that they were broadcasted all around the world.

Some people think Ramsay has a big attitude, because of all his negative criticism and swearing in the shows. However, if you watch more videos and interviews of Ramsay, he seems to be a beloved family man, who loves to be around his kids and wife.

Today is our master chef’s birthday and we wonder if he will make his own Michelin-star-worthy birthday cake with 51 candles on it or if he will let his wife buy a traditional birthday cake? Will he go out for a birthday dinner with his family or will he make his favourite recipes?

Trivial fact:
Did you know Ramsay was a very successful soccer player before he became a top chef? He joined the Glasgow Rangers at the age of 15 and played on a professional level, but his sport career came to an abrupt end in 1985 because of a knee injury. After Ramsay realised he could never play on a professional level again, he began a hotel management study to become a chef.
